Accessing Leinster House

The security of Leinster House is the responsibility of the Superintendent of the Houses, assisted by the Captain of the Guard and the Head Usher.

Members may use the Kildare Street and Merrion Street entrances and are not required to routinely pass through security search checks.

Access pass holders, including Oireachtas staff, political staff and political correspondents may use the Kildare Street and Merrion Street entrances.

Visitors to the parliamentary campus and visiting tour groups enter via the Kildare Street entrance only.
