The proposal for a new Employment Regulation Order (ERO) for the Contract Cleaning Industry was received from the Labour Court on the 22 April 2024.  After consideration by the Minister as required by legislation, it was approved by the Minister for Business, Employment and Retail on 21 May 2024 and came into effect on 1 June 2024.   Employment Regulation Orders do not have retrospective effect.
