111. Deputy Darren O'Rourke asked the Minister for Justice the number of Garda asset profilers attached to each Garda division as of 22 April 2025. [21332/25]
View answerI have been advised by CAB that a review was recently conducted of the Divisional Asset Profilers on a National basis. Since training commenced a total of 628 members of An Garda Síochána have completed the Criminal Assets Bureau Divisional Assets Profiler course.
The review indicated that a number of trained Divisional Asset Profilers are now inactive for various reasons including retirement, resignation, promotion and transfer. The total number of active Divisional Asset Profilers currently stands at 424.
The breakdown per Division is outlined in the table below, provided by the Bureau. Information supplied is operational and subject to change.
