Deputy Shónagh Ní Raghallaigh asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation if his Department has a policy on alarm installation engineer codes and the procedure that follows if an alarm company goes out of business; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Irish registered companies which have been dissolved can be restored to the Company Register up to 20 years from the date of dissolution. Under the State Property Act 1954, I have a number of responsibilities in relation to dissolved companies. There are no specific policies relating to alarm companies.
