Deputy Pádraig O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of civilian staff currently employed by An Garda Síochána in each of the Garda Stations on the north side of Cork city and Cork city in 2023, 2024, and 2025; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy should select August 2025 (the latest date for when figures are available) and then select the report titled ‘Garda Staff by Division and Station 31 of August 2025’
The Garda Commissioner is responsible for the management and administration of An Garda Síochána under Section 33 of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024, which includes the distribution and stationing of Garda personnel throughout the State. I engage regularly with him to ensure An Garda Síochána have the resources they need.
