Deputy Louis O'Hara asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration further to Parliamentary Question No. 677 of 25 November 2025, the timeframe in which he expects to receive the pending legal advice; the timeframe in which he expects to be able to publish the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can advise the Deputy that my Department is awaiting legal advice on the Death in Custody report concerned and expects to receive that advice shortly. I can assure the Deputy that, subject to that advice, it is my intention to publish the report as soon as possible.
