View answerMy Department has received an initial enquiry from South Dublin County Council regarding the potential leasing of existing social housing units - developed with the support of Departmental funding - to an alternative care provider operating within the wider disability sector. The purpose of the proposal is to ensure the continued use of these units as supported or social housing.
My Department is currently examining the details of the request. Once this assessment has been completed, my Department will revert to the local authority with its observations and any further required guidance in due course.
