Deputy Noel McCarthy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation further to Parliamentary Question No. 248 of 6 March 2025, to provide an update on works to upgrade a Garda station (details supplied); the full amount expended to date on this upgrade; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe works to upgrade Cloyne Garda Station are ongoing.
These works include internal alterations and general refurbishment to improve physical access to the Garda Station.
It is anticipated that the works will be complete in the coming weeks, this timeline has been subject to unexpected delays with the coordination of electrical works, as required by the ESB.
The full amount expended on this upgrade will be available once the final account is agreed with the works contractor.
