100. Deputy Pádraig O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education and Youth when a decision will be made on application for additional funding for a school (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4565/26]
View answerThe school in question was approved funding under the Emergency Works Scheme (EWS) for works to the toilet block in the school. During the course of this project, a request for additional funding was received from the school in question. This request was subsequently refused as the works outlined did not fall within the remit of EWS.
An appeal was subsequently submitted and this appeal is under consideration. Once a final decision is reached, the school will be notified directly of the outcome.
