Written answers

Minister for Defence

My Department had engaged with Atlantic Youth Trust regarding their proposals for the development of this vessel mentioned by the Deputy, and had confirmed the Department’s willingness to explore the possibility of using the vessel, in principle subject to all necessary certifications. The Department did not provide any funding in relation to the scoping, purchase or retrofit of the vessel.
