The Coastal Unit Advisory Group (CUAG) consists of serving Coast Guard Volunteers elected by their peers to advocate on their behalf and provide a representative role in matters relating to serving volunteers. In addition, through robust policies and procedures, volunteers are provided with access to independent external HR advice in relation to grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters, as well as welfare supports, including access to counselling services.
