Deputy Paul Nicholas Gogarty asked the Minister for Health in engaging with the HSE regarding its decision to challenge the scope of an inquest (details supplied), to outline whether she will also seek clarification as to the role played by the State Claims Agency in that decision; whether she considers it appropriate for the State Claims Agency to have any involvement in submissions made within the coronial process, which is intended to serve the public interest through transparency, learning, and the prevention of future deaths.
