Written answers

As Minister of Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The operation, maintenance and renewal or reinstatement of the rail network, including any proposed works at the Kerry Curve in Limerick, is a matter for Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) in the first instance.

Noting IÉ's responsibility in the matter, I have referred the Deputy's question to IÉ for a direct reply. Please contact my private office if you do not receive a reply within 10 days.

A referred reply was forwarded to the Deputy under Standing Orders.
