Deputy Barry Ward asked the Minister for Education and Youth if any review is ongoing in relation to her Department’s policy on flexible working and remote working for civil servants in her Department, particularly in the context of increased fuel prices; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe Department is guided by central Civil Service guidance in relation to flexitime and other flexible working arrangements. Accordingly, there are no current plans to review flexitime or other flexible working arrangements at individual departmental level. An evaluation of blended working arrangements in the Department however is planned for later this year.
