I recently announced a €100 million fuel support scheme which will provide supports equivalent to 20c/l to farmers and contractors to offset increased costs in marked gas oil.

Approximately 120,000 farmers and 1,500 agricultural and forestry contractors will be eligible to apply for support, including horticulture growers.

I will announce further details of the scheme shortly.
