As Minister of State for International & Road Transport, Logistics, Rail & Ports, I wish to advise that Ireland does not have a licence exchange agreement with Turkey. The Government's current priority in these matters is, in line with Programme for Government commitments on returning emigrants, to consider further licence exchange agreements with Canada and certain US states. There are no plans to explore a licence exchange agreement with Turkey at present.
