225. Deputy Emer Currie asked the Minister for Transport whether the NTA is required to issue an annual publication of enforcement and appeals statistics regarding vehicle clamping. [50697/26]

As Minister of State for International and Road Transport, Logistics, Rail and Ports, I wish to advise that the Vehicle Clamping Act 2015 does not require the National Transport Authority to publish data on its enforcement activities or the number of appeals received in a given year. However, the National Transport Authority does publish vehicle clamping appeal statistics on its website and in its annual report.
