Our broadcast and streaming operations ensure the fundamental tenet that the work of Parliament is seen to be done by the public it serves.
The broadcasting unit has responsibility for producing, recording, archiving and broadcasting the proceedings of Dáil Éireann, Seanad Éireann and Oireachtas committees, including via the Oireachtas TV channel, which broadcasts 24 hours per day across Saorview and paid television platforms.
The broadcast unit also produces documentaries, panel discussions and talks, as well as televising Oireachtas events that may be of public interest.
Live coverage of all proceedings is made available via streaming on our website and an archive of proceedings is also available.
