Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Education and Skills the commencement date for construction of a school (details supplied) in County Galway; given that the tender process is complete and all legal issues with the site are now sorted; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI am pleased to confirm for the Deputy that the site acquisition is now complete and the Letter of Intent has issued to the preferred bidder requesting necessary documentation including insurances and bond. As soon as all the necessary documentation is received from the Contractor the Letter of Acceptance will issue and work will commence on site shortly thereafter.
