415. Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Health his views on whether an independent agency is required to undertake studies on the content of contaminating DNA and RNA retroviruses and metal toxicants and other potential contaminants in the HPV vaccines; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As contamination of licensed medicinal products is a matter for the Health Products Regulatory Authority, I have referred the PQ to the agency for direct reply to the Deputy.
