Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth further to Parliamentary Question No. 474 of 8 May 2024, to provide a breakdown of costs, by provider and the type of transport used (private coach/bus/taxi service), for each year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not have the details of payments to third party providers of transport services as requested by the Deputy. Further, as providers are not required to classify the method of transport used, my Department is not in a position to provide a breakdown by transport method as sought.
