Wicklow Town Courthouse is the property of the Courts Service. The Office of Public Works (OPW) have carried out minor roof repairs and intend to proceed with a full roof upgrade project on behalf of the Courts Service, following a tender process and subsequent approvals. OPW have initiated a cost benefit analysis to advise the Courts Service on the estimated budgets required to re-develop the complex, to support the decision making around the viability of reinstating the court activity on site. The re-instatement of the Wicklow Town Courthouse is ultimately a matter for the Courts Service to decide.
