235. Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to provide an update on the implementation of the new Employment Regulation Order for workers in the security sector; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24855/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that I received a proposal for a new Employment Regulation Order (ERO) for the Security Sector from the Labour Court on 4 June 2024. This will now be given due and timely consideration. If I am satisfied that all legal requirements have been met, I will make an ERO giving effect to the proposal.
