228. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection if the case for jobseeker’s allowance for a person (details supplied) will be examined; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26171/24]

Further information was requested from the person concerned on 13/06/2024, including a letter from their spouse's employment to confirm their payment rate and the date from which it took effect.
The person concerned was contacted by their Deciding Officer on the 14/06/2024 by phone to explain the reasons for the request of information. The person concerned confirmed that they hoped to have all relevant documentation submitted by Monday evening 17/06/2024.
On receipt of this information the application will be progressed.
