13. Deputy Paul Donnelly asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence the amount spent by the Defence Forces on purchasing military equipment from Japanese-based companies in 2022, 2023 and for the first five months of 2024, in tabular form. [26319/24]

I am advised by the Defence Forces that their records indicate there was no expenditure on purchasing military equipment from companies based in Japan in the period referenced by the Deputy.
