266. Deputy John Lahart asked the Minister for Transport the reason a disabled traveller has to give details each individual time they make a train journey to Irish Rail officials over the phone and the reason details cannot be kept for such individuals. [35125/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
The issue raised by the Deputy in relation to the retention of personal details is a matter for Irish Rail. Therefore, I have referred the Deputy's question to Irish Rail for direct response to the Deputy.
