The Domestic Lead Remediation Grant Scheme assists households with the cost of replacing lead piping or related fittings located within the internal drinking water distribution system of their house.

Each local authority is responsible for the day to day administration of the grant in their respective area. My Department does not hold information on the number of grant applications received by each local authority.

However, the table below sets out the number of grants and the amount paid by my Department to each local authority under the scheme in 2023 and to date in 2024.
