Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science if his Department, or any agency under his auspices, has ever used any artificial intelligence software in the preparation of response to parliamentary questions, or in responses to any correspondence from outside the organisation; the details of same if applicable; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department and officials do not use AI to generate official text. My Department will continue to monitor developments in relation to AI, in particular with regard to potential applications that may be identified by other Government Departments.
