The person referred to by the Deputy holds a Stamp 4 immigration permission valid until 21 November 2024.

An online registration renewal application was submitted by the person concerned on 22 September 2024. The Registration Office of my Department are currently processing applications submitted from the week commencing 03 September 2024. The processing date is advertised on the Immigration Service website and updated weekly.

If the application is approved, the person concerned can expect to receive their new Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card within the following 10-15 working days.

Queries in relation to the status of individual immigration cases may be made directly to my Department by email using the Oireachtas Mail facility at IMoireachtasmail@justice.ie, which has been specifically established for this purpose. This service enables up to date information on such cases to be obtained without the need to seek information by way of the Parliamentary Question process. The Deputy may consider using the email service except in cases where the response is, in the Deputy's view, inadequate or too long awaited.
