Deputy Colm Burke asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the action his Department is taking to ensure that a herd number transfer request (details supplied) which was submitted over 12 months ago is processed and completed at the earliest possible date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that an application form was received on the 27th April 2023 to transfer the role of herdowner as per the details supplied. This application was processed and a letter of confirmation sent to the herdowners on the 3rd of May 2023.
My Department has no record of receiving a transfer request application form in September 2023. If the person named wishes to carry out another transfer they should contact the Regional Veterinary Office in Cork.
