218. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Health to detail the plan, timescale and the costs for providing the necessary equipment for the National Children’s Hospital; if existing or old equipment from existing children’s hospitals will be used in the new National Children’s Hospital. The National Paediatric Hospital Development Board (NPHDB) has statutory responsibility for planning, designing, building, and equipping the new children's hospital. I have therefore referred your question to the NPHDB for direct reply.
