Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the frequency and duration of the publicity, marketing or advertising campaigns conducted by her Department to date in 2024; the purpose of these campaigns; the cost of these campaigns; and the agencies that conducted these campaigns, in tabular form. My Department uses centrally negotiated contracts for large advertising campaigns. It works with media agencies to achieve efficiencies, particularly in the area of media buying.

My Department has conducted two advertising campaigns so far in 2024. The table below provides the details requested by the Deputy.
