908. Deputy Aidan Farrelly asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the status of a premises in the context of the use of it by his Department (details supplied); if she has engaged persons and or companies to make use of the premises; and if she has funded enabling works for its use in 2024 and or 2025. The following deferred reply was received under Standing Order 42A
Thank you for your question, Deputy. The International Protection Procurement Service (IPPS) has received no offer of accommodation in respect of this property and is not examining this property for use. As with all properties, in the event an offer is made in the future in respect of this site it may be assessed for use, however no offer has been received on behalf of the owner at this time. Should it be deemed suitable for accommodation, the Community Engagement Team (CET) will provide detailed information in direct engagements with elected representatives in advance. I trust this information clarifies the matter.
