Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to outline the total expenditure by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) on external consultancy services over the past five years, by year, by SEAI business unit, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The matters referred to in the Questions are operational matter for the SEAI. I have asked the SEAI to respond directly to the Deputy to provide the specific information sought as soon as possible. Additionally, the SEAI has established a specific email address for queries from Oireachtas members so that such queries can be addressed promptly, in line with the SEAI’s objective to deliver services to the highest standards.
