Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 250 of the 20 March 2025, to provide the total value of property that was exempt from CAT due to the heritage exemption in 2018 (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by Revenue that, due to its obligation to maintain taxpayer confidentiality, as provided for in Section 851A of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997, and to uphold its Statistical Disclosure Control Protocol, data in relation to claims for CAT Heritage Exemption in 2018 has been supressed and cannot be provided.
