I propose to take Question Nos 264, 265 and 266 together.

The Accommodation Recognition Payment (ARP) is managed by the Department of Social Protection (DSP). It is payable to those providing pledged accommodation to Ukrainian Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTPs) through the Irish Red Cross as managed by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY), the local authority-led 'Offer a Home' scheme as managed by my Department, and private arrangements for individuals providing accommodation for BOTPs as managed by DSP.

ARP is a tax-free payment for each property and currently stands at €800 per month introduced in December 2022, which was an increase from €400 when first introduced in July 2022. This payment is due to be reduced from €800 to €600 from June 2025.

In March 2024, the ARP scheme was extended to 31 March 2025 and DCEDIY has recently extended the scheme further to 31 March 2026, to align with the Temporary Protection Directive of the EU Commission.

The Residential Tenancies Board has undertaken some analysis on behalf of my Department on properties in receipt of ARP. This analysis is to aid understanding on the level of participation of rental properties in the ARP. My Department engages with DCEDIY on a regular basis in relation to the operation of ARP.
