Deputy Mairéad Farrell asked the Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport the costs incurred by his Department and bodies under its aegis from contracts awarded to communications and PR firms in 2024; the name of the contractor and a description of the work undertaken in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed that my Department, as then constituted, did not award any contracts to communications and PR firms in 2024. Regarding the bodies under my Department’s remit, these are operational matters for the bodies themselves.
It should be noted that my Department was re-configured as the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport at the beginning of this month.
