Deputy Albert Dolan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence if his Department and each agency or public body under its remit uses a formal contract management system or procurement tracking platform; to list the systems in use; and if they are centrally monitored or independently operated. Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that my Department has a Procurement Tracking System (PTS) for tracking procurements. My Department also uses the enterprise grade ‘Oracle E-Business Suite’, which is a suite of integrated business applications, and includes contract management functionality.
I can also confirm that these systems are managed and monitored by officials in my Department.
