In the Department of Education and Youth however, procurement is managed by each individual Business Unit, with the head of procurement aiding units in adhering to public procurement regulations. There is also a Procurement Policy Unit in the department, that provides advisory services and advocates best practices on public procurement matters.

The information in respect of state bodies under the aegis, within the scope of the Deputy’s question, is not held by my department. State bodies have been provided with the question and have been advised to respond directly to the Deputy.
