Deputy Albert Dolan asked the Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport if his Department and each agency or public body under its remit uses a formal contract management system or procurement tracking platform; to list the systems in use; and if they are centrally monitored or independently operated. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department's Procurement Unit track all contracts in excess of €25,000 (including VAT) and operates a suite of oversight arrangements to ensure compliance with public procurement guidelines to the greatest extent possible.
In addition, purchase orders in excess of €20,000 incurred by my Department are published quarterly on my Department's website at www.gov.ie/en/department-of-culture-communications-and-sport/collections/purchase-orders/
Procurement matters for agencies and bodies under the aegis of my Department is an operational day-to-day matter for each body, in which I have no role.
