151. Deputy Conor Sheehan asked the Minister for Transport if Irish Rail has any plans to refurbish the CAF fleet of mark 4 trains used on the Dublin-to-Cork service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [36813/25]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy may be aware, as Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The operation, maintenance and renewal of the rail network, including the refurbishment of fleet, is a matter for Iarnród Éireann in the first instance.
