Deputy Barry Ward asked the Minister for Education and Youth the position regarding any engagement her Department has had with an organisation (details supplied); if her attention has been drawn to its pre-Budget 2026 submission; if she will be engaging with this group as part of Budget negotiations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Submissions received for Budget 2026 Department of Education and Youth core funding will be considered as part of the Department's Budget 2026 estimates process.

I can advise the Deputy that, under the 2025 Dormant Accounts Fund, funding of €180,000 was approved for the organisation in question through my Department.
