Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality if any measures are in place for reimbursement of childcare providers that cover the cost of AIM support staff from private funding before applications are approved; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe backdating of AIM level 7 supports to a service provider are currently under review between officials in my Department and Pobal who administer the scheme on our behalf. As scheme administrators, Pobal and Better Start engage directly with service providers in regard to applications, providing advice and assistance as needed. A key objective of the ongoing review is to learn from provider experiences in order to improve the application process.
