Deputy Eoghan Kenny asked the Minister for Health the reason there are currently no seizure detection devices (details supplied) eligible for funding under the local community healthcare organisation's community funded schemes; the processes which suppliers/manufacturers of these devices must follow in order to have these devices considered for funding; if the expansion of the scheme to include these devices can be considered; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
