Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health in respect of the 12 cases reported in 2022 in which babies were born alive following abortion, whether the women in those cases were offered counselling before and after the procedures; whether any of those mothers availed of counselling; if her Department has reviewed the adequacy of psychological and emotional supports in these specific cases; and whether any follow-up or welfare checks were carried out to support those women.
