366. Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Social Protection if the case of a person will be reviewed (details supplied); if the decision on this application will be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [53292/25]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person in question is in receipt of an Invalidity Pension (IP) from my Department since 20 December 2007 and receives their weekly basic IP payment to their nominated bank account on Thursday of each week. There is no review of the IP claim currently underway.
An application for Fuel Allowance was received from the person concerned on 15 September 2025. They were found eligible for fuel allowance with effect from 18 September 2025 and notification of the award issued to them on 22 September 2025.
I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
