92. Deputy Maeve O'Connell asked the Minister for Transport the amount of Exchequer funding allocated to schemes to encourage cycling and walking in County Dublin. [53333/25]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to Active Travel. Funding is administered through the National Transport Authority (NTA), who, in partnership with local authorities, have responsibility for the selection and development of specific projects in each local authority area.
€290 million was allocated to the NTA's Active Travel Infrastructure Fund this year, and the NTA in turn have allocated the following funding to the four local authorities in Dublin for walking and cycling infrastructure in 2025:
