Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the amount allocated for compensation for personal injuries criminally inflicted in the years 2020 to date; and the amount expended, in the years 2020 to date, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Due to the intrinsic nature of the Scheme, awards made in any given year may include awards made in respect of applications submitted in preceding years.
