Deputy Pádraig Rice asked the Minister for Health if incremental credit will be provided to newly appointed radiation therapists in the HSE for previous relevant experience gained in the private sector or as an agency worker in a public hospital (details supplied); the reason radiation therapists are not currently included in the categories of staff in which incremental credit may be granted for previous relevant experience in the private sector and/or as an agency worker; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
