Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Social Protection if he can provide details of his Department’s involvement in the Letterkenny gift card scheme; if he can also provide details of similar schemes including, any cross-Border initiatives; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There is no such scheme in the Department of Social Protection, however, we believe Letterkenny Chamber runs a gift card scheme around this time each year to encourage shopping in the town.
